Different ethnic groups have their own reasons as to what the headwrap (doek) symbolises. “
Still   I will     make it .. Out   of history’s     shame   ,I made it From a past rooted in pain     , I made it From abundance .I still made it Even from heartache I made it You know why? I am like a seed rooted in fertilisers. Even life showers heavy rains on me But is not clever enough to realise that it is growing me . I flourish regardless of any circumstance. Indeed I am a rare kind,a peculiar notion. Problems don’t break me .I simply bend and bounce back to original,   to even   a better shape once I’m sorted. I believe that when greatness is destined for me ,it will come and snatch me to where I belong ,because noboby can manipulate fate! Yes ,life does throw lemon’s   I do fall but never on my back but on my knees. You know God, God...is that master captain who always steers me back to where I belong. Even through the storm ,I keep my crown intact because life will not reduce its conditions to favour my wishes. I simply need t
HER HIGHNESS,MY QUEEN She is an extra-ordinary 2 in 1 mom. I've been blessed with an amazing woman who is always the first person i talk to everyday. She is miles away but I sense her warmth regardless of the distance.  She is one person who stands with me through the challenges life throws , then celebrates my victories with me.. Mampinge is more than a mom but a friend indeed,my number one supporter,my pillar.. I didn't just grow bt i was raised by woman who puts all her trust in God. She is one person who sacrifices all the pleasures of life to afford me a better future. Like every other day ,I salute and appreciate her efforts. May she forever remember that her hardwork isn't in vain.. Mampinge is truely an epitome of unconditional love..

CRY  MY  BELOVED   NATION-AFRICA    Being African goes far beyond the colour of my skin.It awakens my conscious when its children are dying of  pandemics,it awakens my conscious when its children go to bed on empty stomachs. My heart bleeds at the sight of African children dying of hunger .Yes,at this point there is nothing I can do but ohh holy Messiah, help me to help your children .To me,Melanin is just one of the scientific terms that I do not   really pay attention to.From Cape to Cairo ,we are one.African sorrow is my sorrow too. My heart bleeds at the sight of African childrens dreams shattering because of the loss of hope.Drugs having their way in destroying African families.Ndimana ndiziva ndibuza kumdali ukuba,Usishiya ngantoni na sitshabalala nje L It is the most painful thing being born in a hopeless land where there is no hope of a brighter future. How cruel is the world? Depriving an innocent angel basic resources. WHERE HAVE WE GONE WRONG??

Education doesn’t guarantee success .                            It is fundamental to point out that  the value of higher  education cannot be over emphasized ,but it can never be under estimated as well.Interestingly some people have made it in life without even completing high school. Now that is proof that sometimes education does not guarantee success. As many would agree that education is the key to success ,some celebrities have managed to become greate regardless .Probably because of laziness or they couldn’t afford their tuition. It is no doubt that alot of Mzansi celebrities like Casper Nyovest  are uneducated but are role models of many youngsters,Even the President of South Africa is uneducated but is flourishing.Sometimes a university qualification does not guarantee success because we find many graduates unemployed. The fact that so many people are currently questioning the value of education is  interesting It captures the frustration of those who have done everyt

THERE IS NO WEIGHT LIMIT ON BEAUTY!   Beauty is typically defined as tall and slim but that is not always the case. You can be fat , curvaceous and beautiful at the same time! Within those curves lies great strength. ‘’There is no thin person inside of me waiting to get out. There is no excuse for why fat people should not   be respected .You can be fat and enjoy life, wear what you want and live how you want’’ said   a size 40plus UNISA Student,Banele Geza. This judgement is usually triggered by how media defines beauty for us,by associating fat with being ugly which   is not true because beauty comes in all shapes and sizes!Women should never allow their body weight to make them feel insecure about themselves to an extent where they feel unattractive.Plus sizes need   to embrace their bodies and   learn to be comfortable in their own skin while looking presentable and feeling good at the swame time.Accepti
